Fordham-Albany Game Notes Released
Will Coven be missing in action? (CREDIT: FordhamSports.com)
I made the mistake of waiting for Fordham to release its game notes for its home opener against Albany this Saturday night. They're still not posted, but the folks at Albany are on the job and the Fordham 2-deep has a big suprise: Jonte Coven, who ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns in last week's 27-23 win over Rhode Island is listed as the backup behind freshman Nnamdi Onyeabor. Right now, I'm not sure if Coven is dinged up or if this is some kind of cat and mouse game, but there are no more surprises on the rest of the Ram 2-deep.

Fans please don't read a lot into the Harvard scrimmage today. The defensive side of the ball is really dinged up right now and several players will see little or no action today. There will also be some experimentation going on at the guard slots. So look for the good and downplay the bad until next Saturday.
