The Lion is Ready to Pounce

Training camp is winding down with today's intrasquad scrimmage. Some more solid information about how things are shaping up will be coming out soon.

Marist and Lafayette have finally posted their game notes ahead of their game tonight at 6pm in Easton, PA.

It looks like the Leopards are going with a 4-3 defense, and I expect them to strangle the run against most of their opponents. If this game isn't a blowout tonight, then the Red Foxes of Marist should count it as a moral victory.

Speaking of game notes, I failed to mention yesterday that Fordham is replacing its #1 receiver from last season with a freshman on the two-deep. You can see the details by clicking on the Fordham game notes link I posted yesterday.

They're expecting a big crowd at Fisher Stadium for the first home night game in Lafayette history, (the Leopards game against Columbia on Oct. 6th will be their second), and a fireworks show to follow. The local forecast is calling for clear skies, but it will be a bit chilly at 53 degrees.

Tad Crawford '07, got his first sack of his CFL career last night as his B.C. Lions cruised over the Montreal Alouettes, 46-14.
