In Case You Missed it...
Do Some Reading
I'm heading up to practice today, (sorry I probably won't be able to divulge too many details if any), but I am excited to see the guys in action.
Of course, this also means my time will be limited today, so let me just post a few links for your reading pleasure.
First, the CollegeSportingNews has a pretty extensive preview of the Ivies where they pick Columbia 6th, but obviously feel a little bad about it. The October 13th Homecoming game against Penn is picked as a "Game of the Week."
Second, there's the much more threadbare New York Times preview. Considering the number of hits Ivy football stories get in the NYT.com Website, you'd think they'd provide more coverage... but that would just what everyone is expecting them to do.

Jake, Let us all know a little at least of what you see at today's practice. I heard some sad news that often inj. sr. Ryan Metee is again hurt and will not play his sr. year. Hope the best for him in the future. Also,I keep hearing that Shalbrack is still not practicing. I hope this is just precautionary and there is nothing seriously wrong as his father told us earlier that there was no cause for concern.
Andy Shalbrack's father was accurate in his comments on the board. Nothing serious. He will be ready for the action. Andy came into camp in great shape this year and is really looking forward to the season.
His Uncle.
Jake, the coach has had some nice thingg to say about Bayo and Nico. Looks like Nico is living up to his billing as an impact guy.
