UPDATE: Sobering Story, but There is Hope

CNN is reporting today that the ridiculous law that put high school star Genarlow Wilson behind bars for a 10-year sentence has finally been repealed. This development should help secure Wilson's release. His appeal is being heard today. I wish him the best of luck.

I first wrote about Genarlow several months ago. He was, and probably still is, a talented athlete and decent student who was recruited by Columbia and Brown just a few years ago. Anyone still think if he were white he would be in jail today?
