Week 4 Picks
Last Week: 1-4
Overall: 11-6
Picking games is supposed to get easier as the season goes on, but I'm going the other way after I started out hot.
But I have to keep trying.
Harvard over Cornell
I not yet sold on Cornell, but if the Big Red beats the Crimson on nice sunny day at Harvard Stadium, I'll officially join the bandwagon.
Harvard is the first team the Big Red has faced this year with a very good QB. I think that makes the difference in what should be a close game
Yale over Dartmouth
The Big Green proved it could overcome its murderous early season schedule last year, but it seems that Dartmouth is succumbing again to gravity. Yale will face a better Dartmouth offense than they've seen in recent years, but it won't be enough because good running backs seem to feast on the Big Green "D". Yale has a good running back named McLeod or something.
Colgate over Princeton
Princeton is a very well-coached team, but winning two tough road games in a row is a tall order. Raiders win.
Holy Cross over Brown
The Crusaders are at home and REALLY hungry to knock off an Ivy after two very close losses to Harvard and Yale on the road. Brown's offense is suddenly on life support as it has yet to score more than 24 points in any game.
Penn over Georgetown
Why did Columbia stop playing the Hoyas after 2006? Georgetown is really overmatched here.

As for why Columbia "stopped" playing Georgetown, jake, I believe there are several unfulfilled contracts with opponents. Duquesne (that away game Columbia owes was definitely postponed the year after we beat them at Wien), Iona and Georgetown come right to mind here. Marist (to whom we owe so much for that at-least-one victory season) probably also awaits a home contest.
tough loss today but that is a good Lafayette team. What is more shocking is on a beautiful day like today we only draw 2k at Wien-where is the support for this team?....
We win a few games and the fans will come out. That is what happened in '94 and '96. PS, #71 played a great game at defensive tackle for us.
