Windy City Speedster

Connor Nelligan

Another Chicago-area recruit is on the way.

6-2 190 lbs. WR/DB Connor Nelligan is coming to Columbia.

Nelligan also can fill in at QB and kicker, as he did in an early season win this past September when he scored three TD's, threw for another, and kicked extra points.

He's also put in time at tight end, linebacker, punter, and holder.

His highlight video is here.

Nelligan breaks away for a 77-yard TD

Nelligan's 40 yard dash speed is listed at 4.54.

Nelligan will rejoin his former Benet teammate, DL Nick Melka '14, and they are the only two documented Benet players to join the Lions.

Our unofficial list of probable incoming frosh and newcomers now stands at 21.

He's first team all DuPage County;42 receptions for 574 yds and 9TDs; 46 tackles as S. Like his yds gained after catch; seems to have a great instinct/vision for where to run. Also looks like a very nice safety.

It's just absurd that we continue scheduling these schools that we don't recruit against. Why?? It's really disappointing that we aren't playing the likes of Georgetown,Holy Cross, Lehigh etc. Sacred Heart? good grief. Do we really need a W that bad? these games help us prepare vs Ivy opponents? No and no.

Sacred Heart isn't bad, they lost to Dartmouth by 2 and beat Wagner who murdered Cornell. They have the top QB in their league. Albany is better, both games will be tough for us.
