Week 3 Picks

Last Week: 3-2

Overall: 9-3

I didn't do so hot last week, getting surprised by Cornell's win at Yale and Princeton's triumph at Lehigh.

But lessons learned, I take a stab at this week's matchups:

Penn over Dartmouth

This is a toughie, because Penn is banged up and Dartmouth seems to have found a running game with Nick Schwieger. Both teams will really be gunning hard for this game, but Penn's defense is actually healthy and will take out some frustrations on Big Green QB Alex Jenny.

Colgate over Cornell

I'm still not sold on the 2-0 Big Red, although I think their defense is improved. Colgate looks very good this season.

Brown over URI

Brown needs a win and we have not heard the last of the Bears. This could be a fun high-scoring game.

Lafayette over Yale

The Leopards seem better this year and the Elis seem worse. This could be a 7-0 final score.

Harvard over Lehigh

Could the Crimson possibly fall where CCSU and Princeton have already succeeded? No.

Jake...always enjoy your picks. Would be surprised if URI lays down after getting spanked and embarrased by UConn last week. Look for them to beat Brown.
