QB Dustin Taliaferro has offers from mid-majors and three Ivies (CREDIT: Rivals.com)
Dustin Taliaferro was a star quarterback for Roswell High School in Roswell, GA. He was recruited by some big schools, but now seems to be leaning toward the Ivies and Columbia is in the running along with Penn and Dartmouth.

Very impressive stats for Dustin Taliaferro including a 4.0 GPA. One of our starting guards, John Seiler, is from Georgia, so Dustin should feel right at home if he comes to Columbia. If Taliaferro decides to go Ivy, he would be very smart to select Columbia for all the obvious reasons + the chance to see plenty of action at quarterback his freshman year. High school football players from Georgia are extremely well-coached so I have no doubt that Taliaferro could compete for the starting QB spot right away.
