Matthew Fox's Speech Now Online

Matthew Fox's class day speech to the Columbia College graduates is now available on the Columbia website. You can go here here and look for the "archived event" of the class day ceremonies link. Fox's speech begins about 42 minutes in to video.

My defense of this former football starter as class day speaker is here.

I was at Class Day. Fox was very well received by the audience and did a fine job. Had some good humor at his own expense.

He did leave immediately after his speech however and did not stay for the rest of the ceremony...that I found a little unfortunate.

A lot of celebs are very shy and umcomfortable in public. I am sure it was not intended as a snub.

If he had stayed, he might have been subjected to some jerk protest or something like that. I thought his brief comments were great.
