Jake, I and I am sure many other devoted readers would want to shake your hand tomorrow. Will you be in the stands or in the press box? You have brought your pungent analysis to new heights this season.

Clearly, Jake's blog, dedication are outstanding. For those of us who can't get to games, talk with relevant people, it's an essential source for Lion football information, commentary.
I'll be checking it often when on an a trip abroad next month.

With Dartmouth, there was a combination of improved recruiting for the key positions and some serious program changes.
The hardest two positions to recruit in the Ivies are RB and D-lineman. Dartmouth got two all-time greats within a year of each other in Nick Schwieger, a fantastic cutting runner who can gain yards with his running style even when he doesn't have a great O-line... And they also got Charles Bay, who somewhat surprisingly developed into a very menacing pass rusher before his junor year.
As far as the program goes, Coach Buddy fired, (or was forced to fire), a few of his top assistants before the 2009 season and he replaced them with top notch people from schools you've heard of.
Finally, Dartmouth President Kim is the greatest football enthusiast probably to ever be an Ivy president. I know for a fact just about every other Ivy prez HATES football and that includes Bollinger who one told a very good friend of mine as much at Michigan even though that friend was a big Michigan donor.

Does anyone know if SideLion pass works on an iPhone? It doesn't mention if it's compatable with mobile devices.

Thanks for the breakdown on Dartmouth. Sounds like simply heavily going after one or two superstars can sometimes turn a program around. Simple, yes; but obviously easier said than done. I guess that happened with CU and Marcellus Wiley a few years back.

Penn not even in the game as a 21 1/2 point favorite tonight makes for an interesting Ancient 8 race this year. The Indians could more than surprise.
