#41: Lenz Gets in Focus
After the fourth fumble of the fourth quarter gave the Lions the ball back at the Dartmouth 29, the Lions went back to work.
QB Sean Brackett converted the initial 3rd down on his own, running for seven yards on 3rd and 3 to the Big Green 15.
Two plays later, Dartmouth was flagged for pass interference in the end zone on TE Andrew Kennedy and Columbia was set up with a 1st and goal at the Big Green two.
Then, the Lions called a most unexpected player's number. FB Nathan Lenz lumbered out of the backfield and was all alone in the shallow end of the end zone for an easy TD pass completion.
For Lenz, it would be the only score of his collegiate career, but it was a big one.
The PAT put Columbia back ahead 21-17 and energized the Homecoming crowd
