BBQ Tomorrow!

Remember that the Columbia alumni BBQ on campus is tomorrow! I'd really love to meet anyone who wants to talk football, or most anything else that day. I should be easy to find as I will be the one with the crazy curly-haired 4-year-old having a ball! Please join us! You can still register for the BBQ online here.

Jake, let's plug the 100 Club for those of us who can afford to help financially. The program really needs our support. I parted with $500 last season with great pleasure, and it is fully deductible. Likewise the other programs for giving. Again, the contributions are fully deductible, and for those of us who are constantly hit up to make all sorts of contributions, this is one that will actually give Lion boosters some pleasure. Even if the readers of this blog can only afford a small contribution to the program, every dollar helps in building up our program.

I hope that everyone that enjoys these pages will donate what they can.

Donations are great, but forget to show up to the games first!

Money would be much better spent given to charity, instead of a terrible football team.

Who asked you, and what are you doing on this blog? This is for fans, and yes, it is elementary that those of us who support the team should contribute.

Correct! Nobody is saying not to give to charity. But we fans need to suuport the program however we can, with our presence at games and financialy if possible.

Hey lamebrain, it's been discovered that much of the money donated to charity doesn't actually go to feed the needs you intended it to. So go ahead and keep giving blindly to those charitable causes that are ripping you off and I'll proudly give mine to CU football.

Lamebrain obviously doesn't get it.

dabull while are right in principle, that is not a good point. it is much better to just try some good via charity than to donate to college football teams. of course, i give norries all i have left!
