Tad's Big Play

An Acrobatic Play (CREDIT: Metro News)

Tad Crawford '07, recovered a fumbled punt and that led to a key touchdown in the B.C. Lions' 42-12 win at Saskatchewan last night. The Lions are now 3-0.

One question: If the Canadian spelling for "defense" is "defence," then why isn't "defensive" spelled "defencive." My parents live in Toronto, (since 1996), and they SHOULD be able to answer that question, but alas they have never been sports fans.

Jake,
A little off the topic, but do you have any insight in to how the games this season can be watched,or at least listened to, from the midwest?

All Columbia football games will be broadcast over www.gocolumbialions.com. There will probably be video feeds available for most of the 10 games and of course, audio feeds will be live for all 10 games. If you sign up for one of the packages at the website, you also get access to archived games and other media like interviews and highlights.

Then, there's WKCR's free broadcasts. Of course, the color man thereon won't be Jake.
