New Week, New Commit

Chris Rapka

6-4, 200 pound QB Chris Rapka is coming to Columbia. (Apparently, he's grown since his last Scout.com evaluation).

Rapka was one of the top passers in Broward County, Florida's excellent high school conference.

Bryant College, Princeton, Dartmouth, Penn and Holy Cross were in the recruiting mix for him, but he chose New York and CU.

Tampa Bay.com: Jesuit's P/K Tyler Feely (6'1"/160) verbally committed to Columbia University. Feely, who was selected to the Tribune's All-Hillsborough County first team, was 5-of-6 on field goals with a long of 43 yards.

Feely also was third in the county with a punting average of 40.1 yards, including a long of 50.

His Tweet: I just committed to Columbia University. I went up there for a visit last weekend and loved everything about the school.

Arkansas, Boston College, Eastern Michigan, Florida, Hawaii, Ohio, Ohio State, Princeton and USF were interested, according to Tom Feely, his father.

Feely's older brother, Jay Feely, kicks for the New York Jets, who will be facing the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.
