Lions on the Prowl
I am so not hip
Okay, I am officially psyched after hearing the 2008 Lions theme song written by kicker Jon Rocholl.
Will they play this on the Wien Stadium P.A.? :)

Like the swagger...but a bit premature given the 0-2 record.
It was posted before their first game. Though it may be new to us, it's not like it was posted this week.
they play it before every home game, its on the warm-up mix. I heard it during their stretching about a half hour before the game against Fordham.
Lion 2-deep on the Princeton website. Why not on ours? Fraser listed as starter, but not Waltz. Mistretta also a starter.
The 0-2 record is deceptive. We could very easily be 2-0. A huge momentum-shifting penalty hurt us badly against Fordham as did the special teams' play against Towson. At the same time, there have been a number of positives including the play of the offensive line, the quarterback, Shane Kelly, the receivers, and a number of defenders. Hopefully, everything will jell this Saturday against Princeton. I hope we have a noisy Homecoming crowd.
As far as I am concerned the highlight of the game against Towson was Zack Kourouma's long TD off a beautiful screen pass from Shane Kelly. It has been a long time since we had a running back with Kourouma's speed and field vision. If Kourouma can turn the corner for some big gains, that will really help the offense
that song is ridiculous and frankly embarrassing given the current state of our program. Get a few W's in the Ivies and then listen to that nonsense on your ipod if that is what's needed to fire you up. I might be old school but I guarantee you the successful programs(Harvard,Yale etc) aren't making songs like that. Just go out and take care of business with Princeton and feed off that win.
Thank God they have confidence enough to put together a song like that. Given the perception of the state of the program, it could be the opposite. Without confidence and belief in themselves, they will never win.
Agree with the last anonymous post. Since when do you have to have a win before you have a theme song? If it fires up the home crowd and the players then as far as Im concerned the song works, regardless of whether the "old school" approves.
The song was written before fall camp started. The senoirs as a group have dedicated to do whatever they can to give this program a chance to succeed. Remember they are the few who stuck it out through coaching changes and teammates walking out. They care, DEEPLY for the success of this program and especially those who will pick up the baton when they leave.
There is such a thing as quiet confidence. If you need a song to get the team and fans fired up, that is a huge problem. Beat Princeton and they can play whatever song they want. Go gettem Lions!!!
