The 308-day wait is over and the sun has finally risen on the 2008 Columbia football season.

To err is human but what an error!
NYT: Columbia Coach Norries Wilson took responsibility for extending the critical Fordham possession. He said he made a last-second call to switch his returner, and Mike Stephens was unable to sprint off the field before the ball was snapped.
“I let them down in the end,” Wilson said of his players, adding, “There is a demoralizing aspect to knowing you’ve got them stopped, then having to go out there and play again.”
