Tad's big Day

Listen buddy, V&T is SO the best Pizza in New York!

Tad Crawford '07 had a big night for the B.C. Lions as the edged arch-rival Edmonton, 40-34 at B.C. Place. First, Tad got an interception in the game and then he blocked a punt that a teammate recovered and returned for a TD.

B.C. is 4-3 and trying to get something going after last year's surprising playoff loss that ended what looked like a sure run to the Grey Cup.

Game of the Day (Day 41)

September 23, 2006

Columbia 23 Georgetown 21

Speaking of Tad Crawford, one of his better days in a Columbia uniform was week two of 2006 when the Lions outlasted Georgetown at Wien Stadium.

Here's how I described the game in 2006. But I may have left out the fact that Tad had 10 tackles and combined on a key sack to help snuff out the Hoya comeback.

Tad led the Lions in tackles each of his four years on the team, a truly remarkable achievement.
