Rossides Interview Available for Free

The great Eugene Rossides (CREDIT: Columbia Athletics)

I've really enjoyed booking and doing the halftime interviews this season. I've had a chance to speak with Athletic Director Diane Murphy, star QB from the 70's Don Jackson, star QB from the 60's and NFL starter Marty Domres, and many more.

This past Saturday, I had a great interview with Eugene Rossides '49, (who looked great by the way), and that interview is now available for free online in a special edition of the SideLion Report.

Our conversations touched on many topics, including the historic win over Army in 1947, Sid Luckman, Lou Little, and current geopolitical issues as well.

Please enjoy.

Jake..just listened to it-fantastic interview on many fronts. My Dad played for UVA in the late 40's and I always heard bits and pieces of that famous Army/CU game from him. He played against Penn and Harvard but not Columbia. Hearing about exact plays, crowd sizes and how popular CU football was in that day was really refreshing. Rossides sounds like a wonderful man and you did a great job asking a wide variety of questions...kudos...

Another great half time interview Jake! You should archive all your interviews and make a CD. They've all been great and it would make a nice gift for CU football fans.

Football fans should take a look at d3football.com and check out the final play of the Milsaps-Trinity game, it's worth the couple minutes.

love the faith but unless Harvard sends their jayvee team, I don't see that happening. Realistically we can beat Cornell or Brown(hopefully both) if we bring our A game.

Harvard is not Ohio State. Harvard can be taken if the same defense shows up and we can do something about theoffense.
