Minor, Minor Change
The Lions will invade Tiger Town 30 minutes earlier
The start time for the week 3 showdown at Princeton, (Sept. 29), has been moved from 4pm to 3:30pm. This may be because one of the local cable providers is going to cover the game, but I am not sure about that yet. A very local outift called Patriot Media often televises 2-3 Princeton games every year, (and they even sell videos of the games sometimes... I bought the tape of the 2003 game that Columbia won on a "Hail Mary"), and they or CN8 may be interested.
YES Says "No" to Columbia
On the other hand, Columbia is not on the YES network's list of Ivy games it will televise this fall. It's a bummer, but I assume that could change if we and/or one of our later-season opponents ends up being a contender.
This is all the more reason to sign up for the SideLion Pass and get as much video content as you can this season for football and basketball.

Jake,
Love the "Side Lion Pass" and have been with it through it's growing pains since day one. There was a name change this month when my monthly payment was pulled. $ no longer going to XO'S Tech. but to New Media Athletics. Whether this is a shift in tech companies or not, I would like to recommend some changes that would probably spur the increase in enrollment you're talking about. When the media player is showing live games the download and burn capabilities are blocked out. Why not let those who wish to save those broadcasts do so either live or replay. The other alternative is for the Athletic Dept. to sell CD's of the complete telecasts as a fundraiser.
ps. My pet peeve with broadcast itself is the poor spotting job done in the booth especially when defense is on the field. Tackle credit is either not given at all or the last player in is given credit or the "famous" player is given credit or 48 looks like 49 (that problem has been soved this year)So when you get in the booth fix that for us fans of defense.
Thanks,
