Can You Believe This???

A short Cornell KO gave the Lions the ball at the Big Red 46 with 59 seconds left and Brackett and WR Mike Stephens sliced the Cornell defense up. An eight yard TD pass to Hamilton Garner ended the drive and Columbia went for one. Eddy's PAT was good.

It's 34-28 Columbia at the half!

Here are the amazing first half stats:

QB Sean Bracket is 16 of 26 for 252 yards, three TD's and no INT's.

Brackett also has a 12-yard rushing TD.

Kurt Williams has eight catches for 120 yards and two TD's

Mike Stephens has three catches for 64 yards.

Griffin Lowry has 10 carries for 57 yards, a TD, but also one costly fumble.

Columbia already has 325 total yards on offense, Cornell has 260.

Cornell QB Jeff Matthews is 21 for 25 for 240 yards and two TD's.

Sounds like the offensive line must be continuing its good work from last week. How big a part of the story is that, Jake?
