Week 5 Predictions
Jake's record last week: 4-1
Jake's record overall: 17-5
Princeton over Brown
This should be a very close and high scoring game, but ultimately Brown's lack of a running game will trip them up. Tigers by 3.
Cornell over Colgate
The Big Red should bounce back at home. Colgate is not as sharp as it has been in recent years. Cornell by 4.
Holy Cross over Dartmouth
Crusaders are playing really well and Dartmouth is coming off a very rough loss. Holy Cross by 7.
Lafayette over Harvard
Teams without a strong running attack are in serious trouble against Lafayette. Harvard is one of those teams. Leopards by 3.
Yale over Lehigh
This one could get ugly. Yale by 15.
5 Comments:
Dartmouth will get trounced by Holy Cross. Saw their game against Yale and they are a bad football team. Try HC by 21. Harvard will knock off Lafayette--they are a better team then you give them credit for as I told you last week re Cornell.
I agree with Jake, Lafayette D will force Harvard into a lot of third down passing situations and bring a lot of qb pressure on those downs. But I think Harvard D will keep them in the game. I see a close low scoring game going to Lafayette
There's an article about one of the lion's tackles in UPenn's daily newspaper. It's pretty interesting. It's about Stefan Savic's transition from rowing to football.
Last week 4-2 ATS
20-6 for the season ATS
Another tuff week of predicting.
Lafayette +6 over Harvard
Harvard may win but not cover
Yale-12.5 over Lehigh
The year of the dog
Brown-2 over Princeton
Cornell -6 of Colgate
A chance for Big Red to show something
Dartmoutn +6.5 over Holy Cross
Green gets off the mat and plays tuff.
Columbia +8.5 over Penn
Lions offense too much
Jake, when are you going to buy into this Harvard team? They will end up playing Yale for league title. And I was wrong with my HCross by 21 prediction--it was 26. Dartmouth is a bad football team but after watching us on Sat, we are clearly the doormat of the Ivies once again--just pathetic. Bill Campbell was almost in tears when i spoke with him at halftime....I assure you if Tom Gilmore was our coach, we wouldn't have rolled over for Penn like that.
